Meet Amanda

Welcome!

I'm Amanda, a registered physiotherapist, Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism coach, physiodoula, and passionate advocate for women’s health, movement, motherhood, and pediatric development.

My passion for caring for women and children began long before I became a mother. I always knew I wanted to work with kids, completing my final physiotherapy placement at The Hospital for Sick Children before beginning my career in pediatrics and orthopedics. As my career evolved, I found myself equally drawn to pelvic health. I was inspired by the opportunity to support women through the many transitions our bodies experience across the lifespan.

Today, I feel incredibly fortunate to combine both passions. Whether I’m helping someone overcome pelvic pain, prepare for birth, return to running, manage the symptoms of a chronic condition, or supporting an infant as they reach developmental milestones, my goal is always the same: to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that helps people move through life with greater confidence and ease.

Becoming a mom only deepened that passion. It strengthened my belief in caring for the whole person—not just the symptoms—and shaped the way I support every client and family who comes through my door.

I understand how overwhelming it can feel when your body doesn't feel like your own, or when you’re worried about your child’s development. My goal is to help both women and children feel supported, capable, and empowered every step of the way.

Outside the clinic, I'm a wife, mom to two energetic boys, marathon runner, and avid reader. Most days you'll find me running with my sweet pup, Boston, chasing my boys around the backyard, fitting in a yoga class, or enjoying slow mornings over good coffee with my family.

My Approach

My approach combines education, hands-on therapy, and individualized exercise to help clients better understand their bodies and take an active role in their recovery or development.

I believe the best outcomes happen when care is collaborative, personalized, and rooted in connection.

I created this practice because I wanted people to experience care differently—to feel heard, supported, and empowered rather than rushed or confused.

I know that our relationship with movement changes throughout life. From infancy to childhood, pregnancy to postpartum, injury to aging, our bodies are constantly adapting. I believe everyone deserves care that meets them where they are and helps them move forward with confidence.

To me, movement is about so much more than exercise. It's about being able to do the things that matter most—whether that’s preparing your body for birth, returning to running after having a baby, watching your child master a new skill, gardening without pain, or keeping up with your grandchildren.

I believe confidence begins with connection—to your body, your goals, and how you want to feel. Helping people rediscover that connection is one of the greatest joys of my work.
